Doylestown Kiwanis Club

History:

The Doylestown Kiwanis Club was chartered in 1925. The club eventually fell dormant, but in 1985 it was brought back to life and re-founded by Jerry Happ. Since then, membership has grown and today there are nearly 20 members of the Doylestown Kiwanis.

One hundred percent of every dollar that is collected through a Doylestown Kiwanis fundraiser is passed through to the Doylestown area community.

In 2010, the Doylestown Kiwanis donated over $11,000 to local non-profit organizations focused on helping area kids.

The Club's largest contributions to area children came in the form of scholarship programs, donating to CB West ($1,500), CB East ($1,500), CB South ($1,500) and New Hope-Solebury ($1,500). The Doylestown Kiwanis largest fundraiser is the annual golf tournament.
