The Township is proud of the Mood's Covered Bridge located on Blooming Glen Road within the Township boundaries and Sheard's Mill Bridge on Covered Bridge Road bordering Haycock Township. The Township offers residents of the area many beautiful sites. The state-owned park, Lake Nockamixon offers year-round enjoyment including scenic beauty, fishing, boating, camping, biking, hiking, swimming and trails for horseback riding.The Township is extremely proud of its vast open space with approximately 500 acres in various locations set aside to enhance the scenic beauty as well as a variety of uses for residents and visitors in East Rockhill. Ninety-two acres of open space have been developed into the township-owned Willard Markey Centennial Park, located on Ridge Road (Route 563). The Park hosts a pavilion, a soccer field, two football fields, a sand volleyball court, a playground, a baseball/softball field, a golf driving range and a l.2 mile walking path.

In the fall of 1999, the Bucks County Community College opened a second full-service campus to serve the Upper Bucks County region. It is located on a 14 acre site at One Hillendale Drive Just off of Fifth Street behind the Glenwood Shopping Center within East Rockhill Township.The Perkasie Fire Company has established a substation in the new Township Pole Barn Facility located directly behind the Municipal Offices at 1622 Ridge Road. The Fire Company has two trucks at the site, one is a pumper truck, the other is a field truck to assist the fire fighters in handling smaller fires and to supplement accessibility to more rural locations. This substation should improve response time to Township residents.It is the philosophy of the Board of Supervisors, as well as the various Township Boards and Commissions, to provide a well-rounded community for residents and visitors of our Township. We treasure our rural atmosphere and quality of life.
