Our Mission:

Engaging people in their community with Christ's love.

Our Vision:

To be a Biblical community that finds its ultimate happiness in Christ.

Our Values:

- Personal, applicational interaction with the Scriptures
- Incarnational ministry together
- Relevant, inspirational, corporate worship

Value #1: Personal, applicational interaction with the Scriptures

This is accomplished through individual study of the Scriptures, and interacting with them in groups of 2-3 people- "READ Groups." These groups are made up of 2-3 people of the same gender that live with in a shared community. These groups are places where people can explore and apply the Bible to their lives. They can have appropriate degrees of accountability as they live out the Biblical "one another" commands:

Carry one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2)
Encourage one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Confess your sins to one another (James 5:16)
Accept one another (Romans 15:7)

Value #2: Incarnational ministry together

Our community groups are designed to allow us to be ambassadors of Christ who believe that God is making His appeal to the world through our lives (2 Cor. 5:20).  These groups are Christians that are united together with the common mission of engaging a specific community with Christ's love.  Individuals also commit to personally reading the Scriptures, using the READ format, then gathering in groups of 2-3 people to do the group portion. These groups are of the same gender and are either a subset of the community group or may involve someone who is a part of the community they are engaging.  The following 6 principles will be evident in their life:

   - We are to love people as we are called.
   - We function as God's appeal to the world as He has sent us into the world.
  - The purposes (evangelism, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, worship) overlap in our lives rather than happening separately from each other.
   - We live incarnationally which means we: (1) are physically present with the people God has sent us to, (2) have a relationship with them that involves spontaneity, flexibility and frequency, (3) pray and look for ways to serve and bless them, and (4) engage them in spiritual conversations when appropriate.
   - We live out discipleship as on-the-job training.
   - God's Spirit directs our life.

Value #3: Relevant, inspirational, corporate worship

Corporate worship is a time for us to gather as the body of Christ and in one voice worship God for who He is and celebrate what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do.  Our desire is that our services would facilitate this time with music, prayer, giving, and teaching that applies the Bible to human needs in a relevant and clear way.
