Eastover Estate and Retreat

Mission, Vision and Sustainability:

Eastover is unaffiliated with any specific spiritual tradition, and its eclectic, open-hearted receptivity aims to support the continuing emergence of holistic and ecological ideas capable of renewing our culture and leading the way to a sustainable planet.

Eastover is a sanctuary.  We see ourselves as stewards of this 600 acre parcel of land.  Eastover borders natural resources classified by the Massachusetts Goverment as Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC), or areas designated as unique due to the quality and significance of their "natural and cultural resources" (mass.gov).

In an era where natural resources like water are of prime concern, our mission has been to figure out a sustainable and socially responsible business model to keep the land in its natural state as an oasis for many generations to visit, enjoy and take refuge in.

To this end, we are:

 - Building an eco-machine water treatment plant that will reclaim all the water that we consume.
 - Planting an organic Herbal Garden to sustain the kitchen.
 - Installing LED lights powered by solar and wind turbines that keep our hearts lit through the dark long winters.
 - Installing a library in the mansion, providing food for the soul, our mind and the heart.
 - Enjoying warm organic ginger tea in the dining room keeping our digestive machine happy.
 - Serving 100% of our world population, not only the top 1% earners.
 - Keeping Uncle Sam happy too - paying taxes as is our duty as citizens.

Our misison is to share this slice of nature's wonder with the public.
