Formerly the White Buffalo Days Celebration, we have revamped and improved our historic event! Edith W McKanna was an amazing pioneer for her time! Mrs. McKanna was the first woman in Texas to get her pilots license and to own her own plane. A Fluvanna resident, we in Scurry co. want to make sure her legacy is remembered and celebrated! She is a charter member of the Flying 99’s and a founding member of various organizations in Snyder and around Texas. Come out and help us celebrate her honor with a parade, celebration, attractions, history, and aviation fun!!
