Edward Best Elementary School believes that the education of children is a cooperative effort between the home and school. Parents are their children’s first teachers. The teaching process begins at home with parents and is continued through school. Edward Best Elementary School administration and staff members encourage parents to learn about the educational programs, the educational goals and objectives of the school and his or her own child’s progress. The school also encourages parents to participate in activities designed to involve them, such as parent conferences, School Improvement meetings and PTA meetings to promote effective communication.
