About Us

Elkton is proud to have South Dakota's first school/community combined library, which was founded in 1984. The library is available to all members of the Elkton community all through the year. The library is open to the public during school hours, however, there will be classes in session in the library throughout the day. If you don't have a library card, stop in and I'd be happy to set you up with one! It's easy and painless and the benefits are wonderful! We also have an outdoor book return for your convenience.
