The Family of Women is a volunteer-run not-for-profit organization. 

Mission Statement:  We lead, inspire, and mentor women to embrace their power, purpose, and value, and to take responsibility for their relationships. We empower women to live the lives they love, igniting their passion to make a positive contribution in the world.

The Family of Women, Inc. hosts meetings in cities across the United States and Canada; we call these meetings "programs." These programs meet regularly for 2 to 3 hours during six month cycles.

The Queens Program will be meeting in Rego Park Tuesday evenings 7:30-10:30 PM, July-Dec 2014

Guests may attend three meetings for FREE for an opportunity to make an informed decision about joining. Joining as a member for the six month Cycle is $110.00.

Topic for July-December 2014 is: 

"Making Your Positive Contribution in the World: A Personal Mission Makeover!"
 
In this program, we will examine our responsibilities as women to ourselves, our families, other women, the Family of Women, our communities, and the world.  We will discover how to grow as individuals while remaining connected with and in service to our communities.  We will explore where we are successful in making a difference in our worlds, and what gets in the way of making the differences we want to make.  We will determine the next steps we need to take to embrace our Mission and to truly make a positive contribution in the world.  If not now, when?
