Mission Statement:
In order to glorify God, the mission of First Baptist Church of Bay St. Louis, MS, is to develop disciples by involving its fellowship in worship and ministry that result in evangelism, Christian training, and service.
Statement of Beliefs:
We accept the Holy Bible to be the inspired Word of God, the sole and sufficient role of faith and practice in all matters of doctrine and policy, and believe that the mandates of the Scriptures are authoritative and binding. This Church is thankful to the Southern Baptist Convention for its leadership in the writing of the Baptist Faith and Messages (1925, 1963, and 2000). We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind and to minister to all. The ordinances of the Church are Believer's Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
