First Baptist Church, Manchester, is affiliated with the  Duck River Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.

The mission of First Baptist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We understand that the church makes disciples through the power of the Holy Spirit by:

Evangelizing the lost in our area and sending missionaries to evangelize the unreached peoples of the world.
Teaching sound doctrine to equip believers for growth and service.
Cultivating a fellowship of loving encouragement and joyful worship
Ministering to the needs of the church and the world in the name of Jesus.
