About First Baptist Church:

First Baptist Church of Allendale is an active community of faith with a long history and a bright future.

Established over 120 years ago to serve the spiritual needs of the new settlement of Allendale along the Savannah River, First Baptist Church grew into a seasoned congregation that nurtures faith and inspires the heart. Building on our rich heritage of faithfulness, this church looks forward to serving Christ in Allendale through:

First Baptist is served by a dedicated staff of ministry professionals.

The Reverend Chip Reeves is our pastor.  He brings a variety of ministry experiences to our church, having served previously as a youth minister, campus minister, associate pastor, and a seminary administrator.

The Reverend Carol Holladay brings to our children a lively spirit of faithfulness and creatively fashions a comprehensive program that leads our children to an ever deepening relationship with God.     

Our choir is led by talented and faithful musicians who plan worship experiences that delight the ear, buoy the soul, and challenge our congregation to even greater discipleship.
