Our desire is to love people even as our Lord loved people.  He cared about everyone.  We have all sinned and need a savior.  Our evangelistic sermons make clear God's plan of salvation through asking Jesus to save us.  After receiving Christ our second mission is to disciple His sheep.  Our evening services are causal with frequent two way questions and answers.  We come to church to learn the Bible and learn more about how we can serve our Lord.  No question is too simple.  And some questions won't be answered until we get to Heaven. 

First Baptist Church of Goodrich was established in 1901.  Our community has changed much over the years and like many churches our congregation is small.  But we are healthy in the Lord.  We are debt free and excited about serving our Lord.  We believe the Lord is returning soon to take His children home and we are determined to work till Jesus comes.  We invite you to come be part of our family.
