Mission Statement of the First Presbyterian Church of Ashtabula, Ohio

Jesus with cross gif The membership of the First Presbyterian Church of Ashtabula agree that the way to best accomplish their mission as a religious organization is to build a foundation based on the teachings found in the Holy Bible.

The Church extends a sincere invitation to any person regardless of race, creed or secular belief to join with the church family as it reaches out to the surrounding area in an effort to have a positive effect on the civic, cultural, moral and religious fiber of the community.

Dedication to the continued reading, learning and understanding of the circumstances surrounding the life of Jesus, the Son, and His supreme sacrifice of that life to cleanse the sin from the souls of the people so that the people, by commitment to his teachings would be empowered by the Holy Spirit and prayer to serve the Lord through the House built for Him as we prepare for the Home He has made for us.
