Mission Statement

We are “four generations of Christians seeking together to grow deeper in Christ to reach farther in love.” 

What does that mean?

-Four generations of Christians: We are a truly multigenerational church of 600 members that delights in the blessing and challenge of four generations worshipping, learning, and serving together.

-Seeking together: We are seekers, filled with questions, coming from many backgrounds, perspectives, school districts, and communities, but united by our common faith in Jesus Christ and our desire to discern and do God’s will.

-To grow deeper in Christ: If we have been living ‘in Christ’ for a long time, or if we have only recently awakened to life in him, there is always ‘room to grow.’ We seek to deepen our friendship with Christ, so that his image can grow more visible in us. 

-To reach farther in love:  We are always listening for directions about where God wants us to go and what God wants us to do in our neighborhood, in our nation, and in our world. We are presently involved in our community serving a free dinner every Thursday night, building houses through Habitat for Humanity, providing an after school program at a local elementary school, sending out youth and adult mission teams, and supporting a variety of ministries and programs in Pottstown and in the world.
