About Us:

First Street Elementary School is a neighborhood school that is located on the East side of Canonsburg. Our school is composed of an ethnically diverse population of approximately 200 students in grades K-4. Together, we partner with the home and local community to ensure the positive impact that education will serve for our students. We consider our elementary programming as a foundation for life-long learning. We are striving toward the Pennsylvania State Standards in all academic areas as reflected in a building-wide theme, ?Reaching for the Stars at First Street Elementary School.? Integrated with our academic programming is a Character Education initiative that permeates the climate and culture of First Street Elementary School. Our co-curricular programming includes extensions for student growth such as after-school enrichment activities and the Homework Help program
