Peace River Refuge & Ranch has been rescuing non-releasable wild animals since 1998 to prevent them from being destroyed. We have moved the entire sanctuary and all of the animals to the Ocala National Forest (Silver Springs, FL 34488). Aligning with the new location, we have changed our name to Forest Animal Rescue.

Please join us as a volunteer in this once in a lifetime opportunity to build large, permanent habitats for over 130 wild animals that have recently been moved to 80 beautiful acres in the Ocala National Forest.

Soon we will be offering semi-monthly guided tours of the sanctuary by reservation. We are otherwise closed to the general public.
