The Waukon Clinic has provided area residents with high quality healthcare since its founding in 1988. (The clinic expanded to its current size in 1997.) Administrative and clinical support is provided by the Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare main site in La Crosse.

However, some patients may be referred into La Crosse for specialized treatment or follow-up if necessary.
