The Police Department currently has 36 employees who serve a community of 14,800 residents. The Department structure for sworn personnel includes Chief of Police, 2 Division Commanders, 5 Sergeants, 2 Detectives, 1 Crime Prevention/Community Outreach Officer, 18 Patrol Officers, and 4
Part-Time Patrol Officers.

To maintain the high quality of life and low crime rate in the Village, the police department incorporates a comprehensive, pro-active approach to delivering police services.

Police Department divisions include: Patrol, Investigations and Community Services, which include Crime Prevention, Traffic and Community Policing.
