The mission of The Friends of the Marlborough Public Library is to enrich the cultural life of the Marlborough Public Library and the City of Marlborough, support the library through volunteering and advocacy efforts, and to provide funding for library programs and special projects. The Friends generously sponsor a variety of programs for the benefit of the Marlborough community.  Some of these programs include Guest Authors, Concert Series, Art Exhibitions, Photography Shows, and more.
