What We Believe :
The Bible is the inspired word of God, correct in its historic statements, and is the only Divine and infalliable standard of faith and practice. * God our Father, as revealed in the Bible, is the eternal Creator of all things, infinite in His wisdom, love, and power. * Jesus Christ, our Lord, is the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary; who died for our sins and was raised bodily for our justification; who ascended into Heaven as our High Priest and Mediator; and who will personally come again at God's appointed hour to judge the living and the dead and to reign forever. * The Holy Spirit is the Comforter and Spirit of Truth, sent from God to convict the world of sin, whereby believers are lead, instructed and empowered to serve our Lord Jesus Christ; and by which Spirit believers are sanctified and sealed unto the day of redemtion.

Mission :
The mission and purpose of Garner Advent Christian Church is to glorify God by being disciples of Jesus Christ, proclaiming the gospel of salvation and providing opportunities for biblical instruction, spiritual encouragement and caring outreach for all ages and needs.

Values :
We believe that prayer can change lives and circumstances, heal the sick, and deepen our relationship with our Father in Heaven. We will seek the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in making our belief reality through practicing consistent and prayerful support of one another. * We believe in respecting the dignity of every individual and in demonstrating equal concern for the salvation of all. * We believe that caring for the needs of others, in the context of Christian love and fellowship, is essential to Christian discipleship. * We believe in providing opportunities and encouragement to members of all ages to explore and develope their God-given talents and gifts as they seek to realize their Christian potential as part of the Body of Christ.
