About Us:

Gracious Savior is a fellowship of people - people who love the Lord Jesus Christ, and look to Him alone for salvation. Our first worship service took place in the music room at Battle Mountain High School on August 7, 1983 with a handful of people. Since then we have grown to several hundred people who gather together week after week in vibrant worship of Jesus. We are still a relatively young congregation, both in our years of existence and in the age of our members. This makes for a lively, innovative attitude always ready to move forward with fresh new ideas, while still keeping the Gospel of Jesus as our center. Our affiliation is with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, which has approximately 2.6 million members worldwide. In unity with the some six thousand other congregations, we witness the truth of God's Word, maintain ten universities and two seminaries for the training of our pastors and teachers and support mission efforts around the world.
