Grand Terrace Lions Club

22130 Barton Road
909-433-0778

In the fall of 1973, Tom Green, a resident of Grand Terrace, started asking friends and neighbors about starting a service club in town. Tom, a member of the Moreno Valley Lions Club, with dedication and a lot of hard work got the support and commitment from the community.

On January 26, 1974 the Grand Terrace Lions Club was chartered with 43 new members.

Two original members still serve today. After a long period away from the club, a third original member has come back to active status and is serving again.

Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. And communities get better. That's because we help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy.

‹ ‹Our 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members make us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat and with people we may never meet.
