About Us:

At Great Beginnings Learning Center, we started out with a simple goal; creating a physical safe, socially enriched, emotionally nurturing and intellectually stimulating daycare center where children will play, discover and create lasting friendships.

We further developed our child care center with an exceptional staff and recently expanded the center into a larger space for the school agers.

All of our amazing staff at Great Beginnings Learning Center believe that children deserve a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where they can develop physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively.

We also believe that playing is learning. Child-initiated, child-directed, and teacher supported play in a natural setting that offers hands-on, active-learning experiences is an essential component of our program.

The most important goal of our curriculum is to help children become enthusiastic learners. We promote self-esteem and problem solving abilities, which help children gain the confidence to face new experiences.

Our curriculum varies according to age group, but it always reflects our philosophy and our goals for the children. Our philosophy is based on elements of emergent curriculum, Innovations Curriculum, Jean Piaget and Erickson’s approach to learning, and supportive elements of the Reggio Emilia Approach.
