Many years passed and Superintendent Rheams led the church as God led him.

Many great sermons were preached, many people were saved and filled with the Holy Ghost and many people were healed.

God blessed the ministry of Pastor and Missionary Edwards from a membership of 18 to 20 members to the largest black Pentecostal holiness church in Livingston Parish.

Three (3) churches were started from this ministry - Elder and Sister David Johnson started Unity COGIC, Satsuma, LA; Elder and Sister Eddie C Thomas started Remnant COGIC, Walker, LA; Elder Floyd Dixon started House of Praise COGIC, Walker, LA.

Many Elders, Missionaries, Ministers, Evangelists and faithful church workers were born from this ministry as well.
