We are thrilled to announce that we will be offering a Winter 2011 CSA Program this year! We've had a great Summer '10 season and would like to continue to provide you with delicious fresh vegetables throughout the year. Just like with our Summer CSA Program, when you become a Full Share Winter member you will receive a weekly share of a variety of our organic vegetables, mushrooms and herbs for 20 weeks. We suspend deliveries for Christmas and New Year's. A Half Share member receives produce every other week. The vegetables available from week to week change as the growing season progresses. This gives you a chance to experience the whole range of produce we harvest throughout the winter & early spring months. We are also thrilled to offer you an opportunity to purchase a share that not only includes these fabulous veggies, but also local fruit, milk & artisan breads! This option is available in full or half shares as well, and items can be added individually. With all of these choices, we are sure you will find what you are looking for in our Winter 2011 CSA program. Green Edge Gardens is a family owned organic farm in rural Amesville Ohio. Kip and Becky Rondy are long time farmers who are dedicated to producing the best organic produce possible. Their 120 acres of rolling hills and fertile bottomland is tended by hand with the help of many hands. Water comes from a series of spring-fed ponds on the property. Nine greenhouses ensure a year-round selection of microgreens, salad mixes and an abundant supply of other seasonal vegetables and speciality mushrooms. Vegetables and mushrooms are available to both wholesale (Athens and Columbus areas) and retail customers.
