Our 14 acre farm is a diverse mix of sloping pastures and low-land river valley, half of which is a seasonal wetland and refuge for migrating birds all through the winter. We came to this property in 2006, and after spending the previous seven years growing our skills as vegetable growers, along with our passion for local food systems and safe, nutrient dense food. In 2007, we began a small-scale farm business.

On approximately 2 acres we grow over 70 different varieties of annual and perennial vegetables which we sell through our CSA (community-supported agriculture) program as well as at two McMinnville farmer's markets. Although we have opted not to become certified organic because we sell all of our produce directly to our customers, we are familiar with organic requirements and fulfill them by purchasing mostly organic seed when it is available, practicing crop rotation, and continually working towards soil improvement, always striving to balance the equation of taking from this soil to grow food and putting back in, in multiple forms (cover crops, compost, sheet mulching, organic soil amendments), what we have taken plus more.

Members of our CSA receive a well-rounded selection of what is ripe and ready from the fields each week for 35 weeks each year, from spring through the winter holidays. We grow over 70 varieties of vegetables each year, and aim to provide food that is not only fresh but healthy and delicious and beautiful. Each week's vegetables also come with a newsletter with farm news, musings on farm life and food politics as well as in depth vegetable descriptions, cooking ideas, and plenty of recipes. We also host 1-2 potlucks per season for members to join together at the farm, and optional work parties are hosted for members who enjoy spending more time at the farm.
