The mission of Swift Elementary School is to provide a safe, positive learning environment with students participating in a variety of learning opportunities enabling them to develop into healthy, productive, life-long learners. Although ours is an extremely large school district, we feel that we have the unique advantage of being the "small" school among the many "giants." We hope that upon entering our school building of Pre-kindergarten through second grade, one feels a sense of belonging and warmth.

Within the context of celebrating individual differences and the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards, our specialization is cooperative learning. In fact, one might say that our school theme is collaboration. Through cooperative learning we focus on the academic and interpersonal skills that our students will need for succes

We will use our past experiences as the foundation for an even better future. With the cooperation of parents, students, and teachers we anticipate another successful year in a growing tradition of excellence.
