Habitat for Humanity of Valencia County is located in Valencia County, a rural community of 65,000 people located approximately 20 miles South of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our subdivision development, in partnership with Valley Improvement Association is in proximity to University of New Mexico Valencia County 2 year College, Los Lunas, NM, Valencia High School, Manzano Vista Middle School, and two new Gradeschools.

Home lots are open to buyers wishing to join our neighborhood with mixed infill construction with planned Park Open Space . HfH-VC hosts enthusiastic volunteers year round, including AmeriCorps *NCCC, Collegiate Challenge, RV Care-A-Vanners, and local Churches, Businesses and Civic Groups.

Habitat for Humanity of Valencia County affiliate began operations in 1994 to meet the needs of very low income families and has grown to one of the largest affiliates in the United States.

Habitat for Humanity of Valencia County also serves Acoma Pueblo and Valencai County with a homeowner Occupied Rehabilitation Progra. Under this program, homeowners living in dangerous and unsafe conditions may have their homes brought up to code under a program administred through New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority and the United Way of Central New Mexico.

Habitat for Humanity of Valencia County is proud to partner with NM Mortgage Finance Authority, US Department of Agriculture Rural Development, HUD, United Way of Central New Mexico, Combined Federal and State employee Giving Campiagns. HfH-VC is a 501(c ) 3 non-profit ecumenical organization and is operated by a local Board of Directors, raises its funds locally and provides services to Valencai County and Acoma Pueblo.
