Heritage Baptist Christian School is a ministry of Heritage Baptist Church. The Church is pastored by pastor Terrell Hopkins who has pastored at Heritage since Jan. 1999. Pastor Hopkins' desire is to help families to know the Lord and allow them to raise their children and teach them without financially crippling their savings.

Heritage Baptist Christian School was started in the fall of 2005. Heritage Baptist Christian School a new Christian School in Henry County. We are located off of Peeksville Rd in Locust Grove. We have an auditorium, multiple classrooms, a well equipped playground, and a lunch room. We are in the process of purchasing 10 acres adjoining our property to build an educational facility and gym.

Heritage Baptist Christian School offers a well-rounded education (K-2 through 3rd). Our goal at Heritage Baptist Christian School is to provide the best balanced, quality Chirstian education possible to each student. In each classroom we maintain a low student-teacher ratio. Last year our ratio was 1 teacher for every 8 students. Our goal is to make leaders who will impact society positively in succeeding generations. We strive to train students spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially. We want to produce a balanced individual who is prepared to take the next step in his or her life.

Heritage Baptist Christian School is a member of the Georgia Association of Christian Schools (GACS). Heritage Baptist Christian School is also a member of the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS).
