To bring the people of the Parish and our neighbors closer to God through Worship, Service, Education and Community
Our History
Holy Family Parish began in 1913 with a small group of families in East Ft. Bend County, Texas. It was originally built at the corner of Fifth and Orchard streets in Missouri City. It's founding father was George A. Mountreuil, the first pastor of the Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Prior to this time, the Catholic settlers had to travel into Houston to attend Mass at Annunciation Church.
Now, almost 87 years after our Parish began, we have some 3,500 households, representing 5,000 people in our Holy Family community.
