Hospice is a comprehensive program of quality end-of-life care and supportive services designed to help terminally ill persons live as comfortably and as fully as possible during the last stage of their lives.  

At Hospice of Chesterfield County, we offer maximum comfort and care which includes managing pain and symptoms to emphasize quality of life as well as help the patient and family prepare for and adjust to the inevitable final stage of life. Our caring staff offers medical, emotional, and spiritual support to the patient and their family through an interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, social workers, clergy and volunteers. 

Hospice of Chesterfield County believes that caring for the patient can be done in the home with the family as the primary caregivers.  Hospice professionals will help the family meet the physical and emotional demands of keeping their loved one at home, as well as help ensure that the home environment is positive and stable for the patient and the family.
