About Us:

The Jordan Resource Center houses the offices of several itinerant services provided in the district. Staff travel from school to school providing services to students with special needs.

The Jordan Resource Center is also home to the middle school and high school program for students who have severe behavioral and emotional challenges.

The Jordan Resource Center is a special education program which serves students with severe behavioral, social and emotional disorders who reside within the boundaries of the Jordan School District.

Individualized educational programming is provided for middle and high school students who have had difficulty being successful in a more traditional setting. Jordan Resource Center is the most restrictive special education placement in Jordan School District for students who have serious emotional and/or behavioral problems. Our students come to us via a formal committee (LRE) process.

The main goal of the Center is to assist students in learning new behaviors and alternate ways to deal with their emotions enabling them to become successful in their educational and personal lives. Educational opportunities include regular middle and high school curriculum, vocational training, social skills, life skills and community access skills.
