Jordan-Elbridge Youth Football And Cheerleading League

P.O. Box 1084
315-689-7549

History

In the past, the youth of Jordan-Elbridge Community did not have the opportunity to participate as a community in youth football and cheerleading. In order for J-E children to even be able to play, they had to play on teams from other communities like West Genesee’s Pop Warner.

However, beginning in the summer of 2005, boys and girls ages 5 to 14 of the Jordan-Elbridge community will be able to participate in a football and cheerleading program while representing their community in which they live and attend school. They will also feel the pride of wearing a uniform that reflects their school colors and mascot -- the Eagles.

The JEYFCL will be providing the children of the Jordan-Elbridge School District the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of tackle football and cheerleading with proper adult supervision and adequate equipment in a safe environment. This program will be used to prepare our children for experiences at the 7th & 8th grade (Modified) level.

3. Use teamwork, sportsmanship, appropriate behavior, and common decency to guide children in social skills.

4. Help our children to understand and appreciate the value of personal effort and dedication to team effort.
