The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic family service organization formed in New Haven, Connecticut in 1882 by Father Michael McGivney with the idea of:
-Aiding one another in times of sickness or death;
-Strengthening themselves and each other in the Faith;
-Strengthening families and family life;
-Being a strong pillar of support for their priests and bishops;
-Being of service to Church and community by coming to the aid of those most in need in society.
