Lake Cooley Baptist is located at 2591 Ballenger Road in Wellford, SC, just off Highway 292, in the ever-growing Lake Cooley Community. Rev. Joe White is the current pastor and is in his tenth year of ministry at the church. Lake Cooley Baptist sits on approximately 8 acres with two buildings, the latest of which is a 345 seat worship center and education facility which was completed in the year 2000.

Lake Cooley Baptist is in its 28th year since its inception, and first meeting in a small rented store front building in downtown Duncan. Not only has this church been the recipient of God's blessing; it has also been a blessing to many in the community through its food pantry and clothes closet.
