Lake Havasu Sunrise Rotary Club

About Us:

Lake Havasu Surise Rotary is the only morning Rotary club in this great community, meeting Thursday mornings at 7:00 am at Shugrue's Restaurant Bakery & Bar, 1425 McCulloch Blvd, Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Start your morning off right with a great Rotary Club. Sunrise Rotary is the youngest of the three Rotary Clubs in Lake Havasu City (celebrating 20 years October 2010) and currently has 25 members. Individually and as a club, we are committed to "Service Above Self." We are very proud of our continuing efforts assisting the Lake Havasu Little League with our primary community support fund raiser at the SARA Park Snack Bar. We also have initiated our newest community effort with the Adoption of Pima Wash between Magnolia and Acoma and Mr. Dean Barlow's pioneering efforts to place balusters on McCulloch Boulevard. Want to be part of a service club that is "always" doing something to help improve our community, come start your day off right -- join the Lake Havasu City Sunrise Rotary Club for breakfast this Thursday morning.

For the coming year of 2010-2011, Lake Havasu Sunrise Rotary will continue to look to improve the lives of people in Lake Havasu City through various projects and financial donations. Lake Havasu Sunrise Rotary also strives to participate on the global level by sponsoring both incoming and outgoing exchange students, building water wells for remote villages in Africa, supporting the needs of an orphanage in Mexico, helping the handicapped through the Wheelchair Foundation by both purchasing and delivering wheelchairs to central Mexico, and donations to the SmileTrain. For years now our club has led the district on a per capita basis on giving to the Rotary Foundation and it is our goal to achieve this again in the coming year.

If you are a visiting Rotarian, we welcome you to attend our meetings and share in the fellowship of our club. We take pride in the works that we do, but we also take pride in having a true sense of friendship amongst our members, and extend that friendship to Rotarians from all over the world.
