Lakes And Valley CSA
We grow, harvest, wash and box vibrantly ripe biodynamic (100% organic) vegetables and culinary herbs. Once a week you come to your pick-up site, take home a boxful of veggies, and bring back last week's box for refilling. You receive a weekly e-newsletter with garden reports, recipes, and fun facts about new vegetables. We raise heirlooms for their incomparable flavor and nutrition, and non-GMO hybrids for reliability in our northern climate.
Lakes & Valley CSA serves 120 members from Park Rapids, MN to Fargo, ND. Dewane and Anne Morgan raise over 100 varieties of vegetables as well as berries, honey, eggs and beef. The farm uses intensive biodynamic practices and accepts two paid interns per season.
Lakes and Valley Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) produces a wide range of organic vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, eggs, and beef for approximately 160 members in Park Rapids, Detroit Lakes, and Moorhead, Minnesota, and Fargo, North Dakota. The CSA operates on 6 acres of land, part of a 440-acre biodynamic farm eight miles southwest of Park Rapids. The CSA is in its ninth season of operation. We're currently accepting memberships for the 2011 season.
