At Lakewood Fire District 2 our motto is “Respond Efficiently, Execute Flawlessly, BE NICE!” A fire department has to always remember this important statistic: the frequency of the average citizen interacting with their fire department due to an emergency is typically two to three times in their life. That being the case, every firefighter has to assure it is a positive contact. There is no room for questionable service.
