Mission

Our Mission is to serve people in the community who are hungry. The Laredo Regional Food Bank distributes emergency food boxes from our central warehouse in west Laredo to local pantries. The pantries located in the churches and social service centers distribute emergency food boxes to the people in need. Every day we rely on the generous help of individuals, foundations, the private sector, and government to assist with our mission of service to the poor in the community. The Laredo Regional Food Bank is a non-profit tax-exempt corporation chartered by the State of Texas. The IRS grants exemption to the Laredo Regional Food Bank, Inc. from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.
