Literacy Volunteers of the Tarrytowns (LVT) is a group of men and women helping adults in the Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow community who want to learn to understand, speak, read, and write English. Because of the large number of applications from prospective students, our organization is always in need of increased membership. Persons in the community interested in performing worthwhile community service are urged to consider joining LVT.
