To be a vibrant church obedient to God, sensitive to the work of the Holy Spirit a people of faith, known by His love, offering hope and help to all people.

Living Word Community Church is to help people come to know God and His mercy expressed through the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ.

We want to encourage people to a genuine faith in Christ Jesus and to meaningful relationships with one another.

We desire to be a vibrant church, sensitive to God and His Holy Spirit. A church that lives by faith is known by its love and is a help and hope to the community around it.

Statement of Faith:

We believe the entire Bible is the infallible, inspired word of God. It is the complete revelation for mankind's salvation.

We believe there is one true God, who exists eternally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who is both fully man and fully God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God. He will personally return to earth in power and glory.

We believe that man is created in the image of God, but through mankinds sin and disobedience he has been separated from Him. Reconciliation to God and eternal life is only through faith in the redeeming work of Jesus Christ and the restoring work of the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ to which all believers in Christ belong. The Church is to practice and live the life of Christ to one another and to the world. We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers and desire to cooperate with all who proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We seek as the Church to fulfill all of the purpose of God in the earth.
