The mission of the Ludlow Public Schools is to provide a quality education for every student by working in partnership with parents and community to assist each student in realizing his/her full potential.

We believe that ALL students are capable of learning. In order to assist each child in achieving his or her highest potential, we strive to achieve the following:

* Encourage students and staff to achieve high expectations.
* Create educational experiences that are meaningful and challenging.
* Foster critical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving in the educational environment.

About Us:

Ludlow has three public elementary schools, East Street School, Chapin Street School, and Veterans Park Elementary School. Elementary students attend schools according to their grade level. Currently Early Childhood, Kindergarten and 1st Grade students attend East Street, students in Grades 2-3 attend Chapin Street, and students in Grades 4-5 attend Veterans Park. Paul R. Baird Middle School, educates students Grades 6-8, while students in Grades 9-12 attend Ludlow High School. The total enrollments of students in all four schools for the 2012-2013 school year was approximately 2,900, as of the first day of school.
