Our Story:

The journey from working 9-5 in the world of Corporate Retail to becoming a full-time brewer of craft beer is one that may seem an unlikely leap. But that's the thing about passion - sometimes it bursts forth without warning, and other times it quietly stirs for a while... waiting for just the right combination of experience, love, bravery and timing, to bring it to life. We think the latter tends to be the truest kind, and for us, it's what has propelled the dream of ManRock Brewing Co. since its inception.

The path to opening our first tasting room in Grover Beach in September of 2012 was truly a labor of love. All along, we have been focused on crafting delicious, compelling brews and to nurturing the amazing camaraderie that arose in the earliest days of ManRock, among our patrons.

Without the love and continued support of our locals, ManRock Brewing Co. wouldn't be what it is today. It became clear to us very shortly after serving our first batches of beer in the tasting room, that ManRock is foremost about brewing consistently great beer - but it is every bit as much about the company we keep. Over and over again, our patrons have opened their hearts and shared their lives with us - and it's that family vibe that has sustained our growth. It's what we hope will make everyone who passes through our doors feel at home!
