About Us:

Welcome to Martin Public Schools. Martin is a rural southwestern Michigan community approximately 20 minutes from Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. Our district serves the Village of Martin and six townships from Allegan and Barry Counties. Martin serves 590 K-12 students and their families.

Our district has an aligned curriculum with current resources. All curricula include common activities, vocabulary, and measurable assessments. Martin Public Schools offers a variety of co-curricular activities, and field trips including Student Council, National Honor Society, and Odyssey of the Mind. We offer Marching band in grades 7-12, and drama in grades 7-8.

Robert D. Brandon Elementary School provides a sound foundation for academic success. Students feel comfortable and welcomed in a family atmosphere where class sizes are smaller.

Martin Public Schools offers traditional courses and online opportunities. A five period modified block schedule at the high school level allows students to “fast track” through the Michigan Merit Curriculum and begin their post-high school goals and/or aspirations while still enjoying the extra-curricular opportunities. Online classes are offered throughout the school day and after school. We offer dual enrollment courses at the high school level. Martin Public Schools also offer Early College Allegan County for 11th grade students desiring an associate degree upon high school graduation.
