North Middle School, home of the Blue Devils, was built in 1962 to accommodate approximately 400 students. The school was originally named North Junior High and housed grades 7-9. In 1976 it was converted to a Middle School for grades 6-8. Two additional classrooms were added in the early 1980's to allow for growth in enrollment. When the 2001 school year began, students were introduced to two portable classrooms, located on the south side of the building. That number now stands at 11. The school currently serves approximately 600 students
