The Midway Volunteer Fire Department strives to provide the best fire protection, rescue service, and EMS (Quick Response Service) for the Borough of Midway and Robinson Township in Washington county. We currently have an active roster of 37 firefighters along with 6 part-time fire fighters-EMT's employed by the borough to cover the daylight hours from 8-4 Monday through Friday. We are an engine company with 2 class "A" pumpers. A 2002 Ferrara Ignitor Pumper and a 1996 E-ONE Sentury Pumper, light rescue, brush truck, and a Chevy Crew Cab truck serves as a Medic. Our average call volume is 400 a year, everything from a public service, Medical emergencies, brush fires, vehicle accidents, rope rescue, structure fires, and what needs done to ensure public safety and welfare to our local citizens.
