Mission Statemant:

The Mt. Ascutney School provides a challenging, engaging and rewarding academic experience for students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, and provides an affordable academic alternative for motivated students. Students are offered a highly enriched, Vermont Standards-based curriculum in safe and well-equipped classrooms and on regular excursions outside the classroom. Students and teachers enjoy the opportunity to teach and to learn in classes of no more than twelve students, in which high academic and behavioral standards are the norm. The Mt. Ascutney School challenges students to excel in scholarship and in citizenship by providing an environment in which these values are supported.
