About Us:

The Mt. Gilead Church of Christ is an independent, nondenominational fellowship of baptized believers in Christ, saved by the grace of God.

We openly fellowship and cooperate with other churches from time to time; however, since we are independent and operate autonomously from any other church or governing body, we do not necessarily uphold beliefs taught by other churches.

We have no guide but the inspired Word of God (the Bible). We have no "test of Christian fellowship" other than faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, personal service to Him, and a willingness to conform to His Word.

Our church is a congregation in which each person is encouraged and free to interpret the Scriptures for himself and does not place human conclusions on par with the written Word of God.
