Mt. Hope Elementary School is a community of staff, students, and parents, who work together to be both good learners as well as good people. We want to be people of character who will be lifelong learners.The learning atmosphere at Mt. Hope is one of high expectations, yet low anxiety. We provide a safe, clean, orderly learning environment. Our staff is made up of people who love children and like to make learning fun. Teachers not only get along well with each other, but they share instructional ideas and help each other grow professionally.

We are one of only a few Ohio schools to have been named to the “Schools of Promise” list three times by the state superintendent. This award is based on high academic achievement in spite of low income.
