About Us:

Our Congregation has been serving God and His people in Trenton since 1902. Cherishing our rich history, we are growing in faithfulness and service. We are a warm, friendly people, and there is a place for you at Mt. Olivet. 

Our belief is that saving faith in Jesus Christ takes shape in daily life. We seek to serve Christ by serving you, and we invite you to join us in worship, study and service. Our mission is to proclaim, honor, praise and share God's grace and mercy to all people by magnifying and exemplifying the life and work of Jesus Christ. 

Our vision is to achieve our mission through our belief that God instructs His church through preaching and teaching; that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our only rule for faith and life; that belief in Jesus Christ, and receiving Him as personal savior is essential; a changed life is a mark of genuine faith; and that living out the Christian life in our community is vital to it. We believe that through the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit we can be instruments of God's love to all people. 

We stress the importance of Christian Education as a tool to nurture our children, youth, and adults into a faith relationship with Jesus Christ. We uphold the confessional statements that are found in the Book of Confessions of the Presbyterian Church (USA). 

We come together in worship to praise and glorify God through Jesus Christ, and experience the love of Christ we share in Christian fellowship. As a part of the Body of Christ we look to the Holy Spirit to sustain us and to help us support, encourage, and enable one another in all areas of the Christian Life.
